This recall involves lithium-ion batteries containing Panasonic cells that are used in HP notebook computers. The batteries are compatible with HP, Compaq, HP ProBook, HP ENVY, Compaq Presario, and HP Pavilion notebook computers. The black batteries measure about 8 inches long, 2 inches wide and about 1 inch high. The battery bar code is printed on the back of the battery. “HP Notebook Battery” and the model number are printed on the battery. The batteries included in this recall have the following barcodes: 6BZLU, 6CGFK, 6CGFQ, 6CZMB, 6DEMA, 6DEMH, 6DGAL and 6EBVA.
Incidents/Injuries
HP has received seven reports of battery packs overheating, melting or charring, including four reports of property damage of about $4,000 total.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled batteries, remove them from the notebook computers and contact HP for a free replacement battery.

This recall involves all models and serial numbers of the Mohu BeBox smart boombox with built-in Android touchscreen tablet. The unit is a black, portable speaker that measures approximately 13 inches in height, 19 inches in width, 5 inches in depth and weighs about 14.5 pounds. It included a power supply 18V@3.5A and 3.5mm shielded stereo auxiliary cable.  The front surface is covered in a black, metallic grill and the back of the unit is black plastic. It features a small Mohu logo on the middle, lower front and an embossed Mohu logo on the middle, center back.
Incidents/Injuries
The firm reported one incident of a unit catching fire. No injuries have been reported.
Remedy

Description
The recalled VXL-6s electronic speed control #3365 is sold installed in the Traxxas X-Maxx Monster Truck, model 77076-04, and is also sold separately. The electronic speed control is the electronic control module that manages the throttle control (speed), directional control (forward or reverse) and braking of the drive motor in the truck.  The truck is 30 inches long, 22 inches wide and 4 inches above the ground. The truck comes in two colors, red and blue. It weighs approximately 20 pounds. The electronic speed control is located near the center of the truck in a vented blue case approximately 2 inches wide, 2 inches long and 2 inches tall. Traxxas XMaxx is displayed on the side of the truck.
Incidents/Injuries
The company has received 40 reports of fire. One injury to a finger has been reported.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled trucks and return their electronic speed control to their dealer for a free firmware upgrade and installation of a new fusible link, or contact Traxxas customer support to return the electronic speed control and have a firmware upgrade and free fusible link installation.

Description
This recall involves 3-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch Mirka CEROS compact electric random orbital sanders.  The sanders are yellow and black with “Mirka” on the front.  A speed control lever is on the top of the sanders and a vacuum hose connector on the rear.  The recalled sanders came with either a cardboard box or plastic carrying case, a 12-foot power cord, DC transformer (only in certain sanders), a wrench, a multi-hole backup pad and assorted abrasives.  The 3-inch sander is model CEROS 325.  The 5-inch sander is model CEROS 550.  The 6-inch sander is model CEROS 650.  Model names are on a white sticker on the back of the sander housing beneath the hand grip, and in certain sanders, the serial number can only be found on this sticker.  Serial numbers are engraved on the side of the sander housing just above the dust shroud.  Sanders with serial numbers in the following ranges are being recalled:

The recalled water heaters are gray and have the “Performance Platinum” Rheem logo decal on the front above the thermostat control panel. The water heaters are white with an “American Standard” logo printed on the front.  The model number is printed on a label on the side of the water heater.
